The moment you decide to become a Lagree instructor, you step into one of the most clearly structured career pathways in boutique fitness. Unlike disciplines where "certification" is loosely defined, Lagree has a precise progression: Level 01, Level 02, Level 03. Each level unlocks new opportunities, deeper skills — and meaningfully higher earning potential.
This guide maps the complete Lagree instructor certification pathway — what each level covers, what it enables, how long it takes, and what income looks like at each stage across the Middle East.
Level 01 — Foundation: Where Every Lagree Instructor Begins
The Lagree Level 01 Foundation certification is the entry point. It is a 3-day intensive workshop covering everything you need to lead your own Lagree classes independently:
- Megaformer mechanics, setup and safety protocols
- Full exercise library with correct form and modifications
- Class programming and sequencing principles
- Cueing technique, voice and communication skills
- Safety, contraindications and injury awareness
- Live practice teaching with faculty feedback
On completion, you are fully qualified to lead Lagree classes. Most new instructors take their first paid class within 2–4 weeks of certification.
Prerequisites: 40+ hours of Lagree practice · Duration: 3 days
Starting rate in Dubai: AED 150–250 per class
Level 02 — Advanced Practitioner: Elevating Your Teaching
Where Level 01 gives you the foundation to deliver safe, effective classes, Level 02 Advanced Practitioner gives you the tools to deliver exceptional ones. This programme is designed for instructors who have been teaching for at least 6 months and are ready to go deeper.
Level 02 covers:
- Advanced programming and periodisation
- Client assessment protocols and goal-setting frameworks
- Injury modification library — working safely with special populations
- The business of teaching: positioning, pricing, client retention
- Live practice teaching and video critique sessions
Level 02 certified instructors command higher per-class rates (AED 250–350) and are prioritised for senior and lead-teacher roles. Studios in Dubai and Riyadh actively seek Level 02 instructors for management-track positions.
Level 03 — Master Trainer: The Pinnacle of the Lagree Pathway
The Lagree Master Trainer certification is the most advanced credential available. At this level, you are not just teaching clients — you are training and certifying other instructors. Master Trainers can:
- Lead certification workshops and corporate training programmes
- Consult for studio owners on programming and operations
- Develop their own branded content within the Lagree framework
- Join accredited academies as faculty — including Core Wellness Academy
There are currently very few Lagree Master Trainers in the Middle East. The credential is rare, demand is acute, and the commercial opportunities are significant — from building a certification business to premium consulting income.
Realistic Timeline for the Full Pathway
- Level 01: 3-day workshop (after 40+ hours of practice)
- Level 02: Typically pursued 6–12 months after L01
- Level 03: Typically 18–36 months after L02
- Full pathway to Master Trainer: 2–4 years for dedicated instructors
